This c1950’s single storey timber clad cottage was too small for a growing family. With just two small bedrooms, study and single bathroom, the space felt increasingly cramped and restrictive for a young couple dreaming to start a family.
Given the constraints imposed by the limited size of the lot, the most viable solution emerged as the addition of a second storey, which was also the most cost effective solution to deliver this home extension.
